According to YTN on Nov 26th, Lee Dong-hwi and Jung Ho-yeon recently decided to part ways, transitioning from lovers to colleagues. The couple, known for their enduring romance for the past 9 years, has now returned to their individual lives, focusing on their busy schedules.

After publicly confirming their relationship in 2016, the two openly expressed affection for each other even while dedicating themselves to their careers. Jung Ho-yeon, who became a global star through “Squid Game”, once mentioned in an interview that Lee Dong-hwi was proud of her achievements when asked about his reaction to her newfound fame.

In August, Lee Dong-hwi made headlines during an appearance on ENA’s variety show “Kwak Taxitrip 2”. While in Los Angeles, he asked a taxi driver if they knew about “Squid Game” and proudly described Sae-byeok, the female lead, as “my girlfriend and best friend”.

Jung Ho-yeon, who rose to global fame as a model-turned-actress through the first season of “Squid Game”, recently entered Hollywood successfully.
